Dead Horse Bay way the hell out in Brooklyn was a landfill in the 1920’s, and then a beach. And now, 90 years later…trash is emerging from underneath the sand. Thousands of old bottles, high heeled shoes, random pieces of metal and the occasional old speedboat all line this beach.
To get there, take the 2 all the way to Flatbush Ave. and then jump on the Q35 bus. Get off at the marina, and there you are.
