Jillian’s Fantastic Homeade Dumplings.
Filling:
1/2 lb ground pork
two handfuls shredded baby cabbage
one handful chopped baby bok choy
one handful chopped carrot
one handful chopped shitake mushroom
half a handful chopped chive
half a handful chopped cilantro
one pinch ground ginger
3 Tbs. Soy Sauce
2 Tbs. Sesame oil
1 package won-ton wrappers (pre-made and available at organic grocers.)
Dipping Sauce - 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 Tbs. Terriyaki Sauce, 1 Tsp. garlic, 1 Tbs.chopped scallion.
Directions: Mix all filling ingredients together, place in center of won-ton wraps and secure accordingly (see back of package). Fry ‘em up in a wok til they’re golden brown and stick to the bottom of the pot. Serve with sauce and enjoy.
