Media is a fantastically frightening creature. It captures you from the moment you wake up and slap off your alarm clock radio until the moment you fall asleep to Conan’s opening monologue. Unlike a vampire, it does not need an invitation to enter your home: it just exists. And, there’s no way around that. If you were to rid your home of every media related device, at some point you still would...

“The Return of 1107” - A short film I edited and starred in.  Shot by my boss, Greg August. About 1107: While our company was renovating our space, we had to work in an old storage room (Room 1107).  We stayed there for 8 months and endured high heat levels, flies, bad odors, and close quarters.  This short film captures a glimpse of the 1107 nightmare some of us still have.

It's been too long...
WAY too long since I’ve written a post.  But, I have a good excuse. I’m in the process of making a life-long dream of having a gallery exhibit a reality.  I must finish at least 6 peices of a cohesive exhibit to make a fall exhibition possible.  This has been where all (errr - most!) of my summer free time has been allocated. Working at this goal in itself has been a test.  Amid fun...

danmeth: MY INFLUENCES (a new video) When people ask “What are your cartoon influences?”, it usually stumps me… because there’s just too many. So I put this music video together to honor as many influences as I could think of. Oh yeah, it’s all roughly in chronological order of when I first saw them! How many do you recognize? WOW.  This short compliation of animation stills brings me back...
